    Sauteed Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Cashews (from a blog called Tasty Kitchen) (okay, there are 6 ingredients so don’t count the salt and pepper. This is really good.)
    • 5 slices Bacon
    • 3 Tablespoons Butter
    • 1 cup Chopped Yellow Onion
    • 1-½ pound Brussels Sprouts
    • Salt And Pepper, to taste
    • ½ cups Lightly Salted Cashews, Chopped
    Preparation Instructions
    Slice bacon into 1/4 inch pieces. Cook in a large skillet until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels and discard bacon grease.
    Place skillet back onto medium to medium high heat. Melt butter and saute onions 5 minutes. Wash Brussels sprouts and peel any dirty leaves off. Slice Brussels sprouts into thin strips/pieces so they look shredded. Stir into the hot skillet and saute 10 minutes or until tender. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in bacon. Pour onto a serving platter and top with chopped cashews. Serve warm.
