Miss P is Three!

March 21, 2013

three3Today, March 21st, Miss P turned three.  We called Dan this morning to tell him the news.  “Just think,” I told him, “In two more months we can say our children are 5,5,3,and 1. It sounds so much more manageable than 4,4,2, and a baby.”

“And so much less weird.” Dan pointed out.

So far, three, is off to a great start.  I sat Miss P down this morning to brush her hair.  She took a big breath for her usual bloodcurdling screams, but I interrupted, “You are three now, so you don’t cry when I brush your hair. That was just when you were two.”

“Ooooh,” She laughed.  And then stood very quietly while I braided her hair.

Below, the birthday girl.  It is harder than you might think to hold up three fingers.

You are a genius mother! And a psychologist. A winning combination.
    Happy birthday to P.
