Farmer’s Market

June 25, 2011

We headed to the Farmer’s Market for breakfast bright and early Saturday morning.  The children were not happy with this development.  Who wouldn’t prefer a bowl of oatmeal in their usual chairs to cinnamon rolls in an unfamiliar setting?  The mood improved with the offer of a tootsie roll pop from one of the vendors.  A first for Miss P who enjoyed hers under my panicky eye as I stood on ready to perform the Heimlich. In addition to admiring the produce, Charlie admired several girls including this babe (below) shouting for all to hear: “MOM, SHE’S SO CUTE!” He gazed at her until she was strolled out of sight.

Thanks to the lollipops, a good time was had by all.
