Valentine

February 14, 2011

The twins are bustling around today, getting ready for their dinner party:

-decorate table (check)

-ice cupcakes (check)

-make Valentines (check)

They anxiously await the arrival of their guests, Mel and Jacy.

As for me, in a rare shining moment, I baked something (original) that tastes good.  I will now share the recipe (taking the blog to a whole new level).

Valentine Cupcakes:

mix together:

1 pkg Pillsbury Strawberry Cake Mix

1 cup sour cream

1 1/2 cup crushed strawberries (in syrup)

1/3 cup cooking oil

3 eggs

Bake and Ice with Pink Whipped Cream.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Dan, Lucy, Charlie, Elisabeth and Ms. P–Thanks again for such a fun night and my favorite was watching Charlie spill the Fun Dip and then try to lick it off the floor (thanks Mel for providing this) and then declare “the floor is dirty we need to vacuum it up” and then proceed to perform the described action. But the Valentine’s cards and singing were pretty great too. I felt loved and the timing was perfect and as you said, Lucy, the Lord’s provision.
